Obituary of Francis Forrestal

Francis Richard Forrestal FORRESTAL, Francis “Butch” age 70 of Coon Rapids, died peacefully at home with his family around him on December 15, 2017. Survived by his spouse of 47 years Victoria Forrestal; Children Jason Forrestal, Jody (Doug) Determan, Jackie Loxtercamp, Jeff Forrestal; Grandchildren McKinsey Loxtercamp, Jillian Determan, Quade Forrestal, Amelia Determan, Isabella Loxtercamp; siblings Joyce Wright and Brian Seaberg and his beloved dogs Keke and Zero. Preceded in death by father Francis Forrestal, mother Dora Seaberg, siblings Eddie Forrestal, Patricia Starr, John Forrestal, Diane Hunt. Butch was born in Superior, Wisconsin and graduated from Maple High School in Maple, WI. He married Victoria and moved to Coon Rapids where they lived and raised their four children for the past 43 years. A retired glazier with the IUPAT DC82/Glaziers Local 1324, putting windows in many of the skyscrapers in Minneapolis. Butch was an avid hunter and fisherman often seen wearing camo. In Butch’s final days on hospice, he was surrounded by many family and friends celebrating his life. He will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20th at Faith Lutheran Church (11115 Hanson Blvd NW, Coon Rapids) at 11:00 am with visitation one-hour prior. Interment at the Faith Lutheran Memorial Garden outside of the church. A luncheon following the service.
