Obituary of Stanley D. Skare

Stanley "Stan" D. Skare, 46, of Saginaw, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Stan was born in Duluth, MN on December 30, 1970 to Stanley Skare and Carol Gerads. He graduated from Proctor High School and worked for several area businesses including Shelton Excavating Inc. Stan was an avid outdoorsman who will be warmly remembered for being a helpful, loving and caring individual, as well as a jokester. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his dog Rebel. Stan is survived by his children Jason (Shivelle) Foster, Megen (Will Klein) Skare, Ryan Skare; Grandchildren Kadence, Kartyr, Kendall, Emily June, Kaylin (Garza) John (Haag) with one more on the way; mother Carol (Boyd Christian) Gerards; father Stanley R. Skare; siblings Pam (Shawn Talarico) Skare, Jenny (Scott) Nelson; niece Rhonda Hietala; nephew Castiel Nelson; dog Gypsie and many extended family members and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on December 26 at New Life Covenant Church in Saginaw with visitation from 12-1pm and the memorial to follow from 1-2pm.
