Obituary of Herbert J. Day

Herbert J. Day Passed away at age 86, Monday, December 18, 2017 peacefully at home with his wife of 61 years by his side. He was born July 4, 1931 in Superior, WI. He proudly served his country in the Korean War. He was employed by Archer Daniels Midland until his retirement. He enjoyed his family, playing cards, bean bags, watching his beloved packers, and was an avid outdoorsman. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jacquelyn Radzak. Survived by his wife Luella, sons Gerald (Sue), Randy (Brenda), and daughters Tammy Leinweber, Bobbie (David) Radzak, Sherri (Dave) Langley, April (Scott) Carlson, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22nd at 3:00pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN, with a visitation one hour prior.
