Obituary of Carol Rose Blake

Carol Rose (Callery) Blake, 93 years. An only child, a wife, a mother of 8, a Grandma, a Lady. Devout Catholic, adorned in Viking purple, Matriarch, end of an era. Preceded in death by Parents Norma and Dibs Pederson; Uncle Francis Callery; Son David; Husband of 60+ years James E Blake; and Daughter Cindy. Survived by children Nancy, Jim (Nan), John, Jeff, Joe and Barb (Frank); Grandchildren Tina, Melissa, Joshlyn, Jamie, Blake, Grace, Will and Walker; and special cousin Mary Carlson. Carol enjoyed her family, life-long friendships, tennis, golf, bridge, and travel with husband Jim. A special thank you to her care giver and friend, Adrienne. Thank you to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Edina and Fairview Hospice. Funeral mass Friday 2/2 at 11:00 AM. Visitation 10:00 AM all at Christ the King, 5029 Zenith Ave. S., Mpls. Private burial.
