Obituary of Roger James Leeseberg

Roger James Leeseberg, 73, of Duluth, passed away Thursday, December 21st in Essentia/St.Mary's Hospital. He was born September 16, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MN to Paul and Ollie Lesseberg. Roger was an Army Veteran, drove truck and worked for US Steel. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard and grandson Scotty. Roger is survived by his wife Carolyn; children Elizabeth (Lisa) of Duluth, Jon of Longville, MN and Paula of Clearbrook, MN; grandchildren Jackie, Cassy, Kristi (Thomas), Alexis (Kyle), Kelli, Samantha, Malaina, Makenna, Hailey, Matthew, Sophia, Jaxen and Natalie; many special nieces and nephews. Although Roger has many grandchildren, he and his wife Carolyn raised Hailey and Matthew as their children. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 26th a 3 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN with a visitation one hour prior.
