Obituary of David J. Peltier

David was born December 4, 1946 in Manitowoc, WI, son of the late Eugene and Joan Peltier. Dave was a resident of Superior, WI, and passed away peacefully December 22, 2017 at St. Mary's Essentia Health, Duluth, MN. The beloved husband to Gloria Peltier of 40 years. Dave and Gloria founded D & G Trucking, Superior, WI. Dave drove an estimated 6 million miles in his professional career, this does not include the miles he drove around race tracks starting at the early age of 15. Dave was an innovator and mechanically talented throughout his life. Survivors include his wife Gloria; three children; Linda Grider (Peltier) and Rick Lorentz, MaryAnn (Peltier) and Kevin Brezizwicks, and Hope Peltier. Step-children; Stephanie and Tom White and Kaare Berg. Grandfather to nine; Tristin, Adriene, Devin, Blake, Lindsy Jo, Buck, Casey, Daniel and Bradley. Siblings include; Richard Peltier, Karen Sue (Peltier) and Ralph Gastelum, Jerry and Karen Peltier, Bonnie (Peltier) and Robert Ashburn, Donald and Angie Peltier, Kevin and Tina Peltier. Brother-in-law Dennis Hallgren. Special Friends include; Jerry and Terry Buck, Kenny and Jenny Yadon, Dick Conley and Dan, "The Breakfast Buddies".
