Obituary of Jacob Arnold Fern

Jacob Arnold "Jake" Fern, 23, of Apple Valley, Minnesota died Sunday, December 24, 2017. He took his own life after battling severe depression. He was born in Chisago City, Minnesota on October 13,1994 to Brad Fern and Jerri Bertie. Jake was able to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Jake was preceded in death by his Grandparents David and Sylvia Fern. He is survived by his brothers David and Daniel Fern, his sisters Elizabeth Bertie and Sarah Fern, his parents Brad Fern (Gina) and Jerri Bertie (Joseph), his Grandparents, Arnold and Nancy Hendrickson, his uncles, Christopher Hendrickson (Christina) and Larry Fern (Julie) and his aunt Colleen Carlisle (Jeff). Jakes life will be celebrated in a Memorial service, Saturday, January 6, 2018, 10:30 AM at Hope Church, 7477 145th St W, Apple Valley, MN. Jake will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
