Obituary of Viola Bowers

Viola Bowers, age 93, of Minnetonka, died December 25, 2017. Born December 20, 1924 in Bordulac, ND to parents, Herman and Annie (Pitra) Reimers. Viola graduated from Mayville State Teachers College in 1944. Preceded in death by parents; sisters: Anna, Elizabeth, Joyce and Verna and brothers, Howard and Myron. Survived by daughter, Judith; son, Jeffrey (Sheila); grandchildren: Chad (Caroline Willis), Joshua and Alison; great-grandchildren: Rowan, Sofia and Camila; sister, Caroline Wolf and brother, Arnold (Rita) Reimers; aunt, Stacia Balsley and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Rd., Saint Louis Park, MN 55426. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to Westwood Lutheran Church.
