Obituary of Dorothy J. Vigliaturo

Dorothy J. Vigliaturo, 93, of Duluth, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Chris Jensen Health Center. Dorothy was born in Mahtowa, MN on July 17, 1924 to Walter and Gladys (Peterson) Erickson. She attended and graduated from Emerson Elementary, Washington Junior High and Central High Schools. Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert Vigliaturo on August 29, 1942. Early on she worked for Frontier Market and then Red Owl. She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking and was a active longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. Dorothy will be remembered for being a loving mother and compassionate and hardworking individual. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Anthony (2010) and half-sister Diane Mae Klinzing. Dorothy is survived by her son Robert James (Cathy Martinelli) Vigliaturo, daughter Cynde (Rodney) Anderson; grandchildren, Shari Lynn and Christopher, Ashley, Marcus, Calais, Melissa, Stephanie, Kimberly,; great-grandchildren, Veronica, Taytynn, Rava and Victoria. The family thanks the staff at Chris Jensen for the care they provided Dorothy.
