Obituary of Arthur W. Carlson

Arthur W. Carlson Jr. (2-28-1930) passed away December 30th at St. Luke's hospice from complications of dementia. He was employed by the Proctor Minnesota School District as a Teacher and Counselor until his retirement. He loved the outdoors, Wisconsin history, working in his wood shop, and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Dorothy Frawley. Survived by his wife Bernice, his children Brett (special daughter-in-law Zilka), Deb, Scott, Tammi, Jean, and his step children John, Steve and Pat, as well as his grand-children and great grandson. Also survived by his sisters Darlene, Joan, Linn, Becki, Sue, and one step brother Gayle. The Cremation Society of Duluth is handling the arrangements. In honor of his wishes there will be no funeral service. There may be a celebration of life at a later date. Special thank you to his friend Ron Johnson, St. Luke's hospice, the staff (especially Urmilla) at New Perspectives of Superior. Dad, may you be waltzing in heaven tonight.
