Obituary of Gary Fred McCullum

McCullum, Gary Fred of Plymouth, MN age 80, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2022.   Survived by his wife, Christie A. McCullum and his daughter, Kelly McCullum, stepson, Rodger Halde,  brother-in-law, James L. Flavin (Niki) and many other beloved family members and friends.  Gary was born to Frederick and May McCullum in January 1942 and raised in Orono where he attended school.  He served in the Minnesota National Guard.  Gary had a successful  twenty five year career with the Crystal Park Board and retired in 1997. In his retirement, he loved boating on Lake Minnetonka and many rounds of golf.   Gary married Christie A. McCullum in 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They enjoyed many trips together including Hawaii, Bahamas, Paris and Baltic and Caribbean cruises. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd  at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior at 10:00 am with lunch to follow at St. Philip The Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road #6, Plymouth, MN 55447.   In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to The Animal Humane Society or The  National Suicide Prevention (NAMI Minnesota).   Private family Internment at a later date.
