Obituary of Romaine Breault

Romaine Breault, of Bloomington, age 87, passed away December 31, 2017. Romaine grew up in Hastings, Nebraska. He was born to Isadore & Mary. He had three sisters; Opal (deceased), Cylina (deceased) and Helen (Delbert) and one brother, Ernie (deceased). Romaine worked for Johnson's Wax as a salesman and was able to retire early so he could pursue many of his passions, gardening, wine making and cooking. He met the love of his life, Barbara and together they pursued many of those passions. Together they were able to declare their backyard as a Natural Habitat. He was a member of the Purple Foot Club and enjoyed making wines from the fruits of his garden. He also submitted several bottles of wine at the Minnesota State Fair and won several ribbons. He also enjoyed entertaining and would have tomato tasting and wine tasting parties for family and friends. Romaine was always tinkering. He loved making bird houses and squirrel feeders or things for the garden He will be remembered for his storytelling and gourmet dinners and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Barbara; sons David (Mary), and Dana and daughter Dawn; stepdaughter, Pam (Jeff); and stepson Paul; grandchil- dren: Michelle, Cindy, Kris, Ashley and Taylor and step-grandchildren Kevin, Hailey and Hannah. He also was a proud great grandpa to Lindsey, Tyler, Zander & Gwen. There are no words to describe the great husband, dad, grandfather, and friend that he was and how lucky we were to have him in our lives. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment, Fort Selling National Cemetery.
