Obituary of James K. Sievi

James K. Sievi, 66, died Jan. 2, 2018 at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 16, 1951 to Kenneth and Marie Sievi. He graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1969. Jim married Barbara Bean on June 8, 1974. They celebrated 43 years of marriage. He worked for the BNSF Taconite Facility for 36 years, retiring in 2012. Jim had many interests including riding his motorcycle, working with stained glass, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rick. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara. He is also survived by two sisters, Lynn (David) Gross and Colleen Sievi, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Cathedral Christ the King in Superior, WI, on Monday January 15, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements made by Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth.
