Obituary of Margaret “Maggie” Bradford

BRADFORD, Margaret "Maggie" (Korlath) passed away peacefully at home after a short bout with cancer on January 3, 2018, at the age of 66. Survived by her husband of 18 years James N. Bradford, Jr.; sisters Mary Korlath, Janis (David) Keske, Mickey (Bob) Reid, Linda (Bob) Gilbert, Nancy (Andy) Cook, and Tamy (Greg) Reese; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents William Richard Korlath and Eileen Rose (Nutzmann) Korlath and her brother William Randall Korlath. Maggie was born April 4, 1951. She grew up in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and was a 1969 graduate of Osseo Senior High School. She worked many years as an x-ray technician at various facilities in the Twin Cities and in Sun City Center, Florida. Maggie’s love for traveling brought her to many corners of the world. She loved the outdoors, from the Boundary Waters to Caribbean deep sea fishing. She was passionate about photography. Maggie also loved the symphony, and had eclectic musical tastes from the Beatles to Jazz, Broadway, reggae, and beyond. With a love for sports, she was a life long passionate Minnesota Twins fan. She was a gifted and avid crocheter and enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Private Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Internment arrangements prepared by The Cremation Society of Minnesota. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
