Obituary of Shirley Ann Isakson

Shirley Ann Isakson age 83, of Duluth, MN passed away Thursday January 4th, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born on November 3, 1934 in Ladysmith, WI to Ralph and Pauline (Jamoski) Martinson. She was a 1952 graduate of Denfeld High School and on August 18, 1953 she married Donald Isakson. Shirley is survived by her six children: Steve (Patty) Isakson of Proctor, MN, Jeff (Christine) Isakson of Cloquet, MN, Kim (Mark) Nygaard of Superior, WI, David (Velkis) Isakson of Brandenburg, KY, Carla (Dale) Pearson of Duluth, MN and John Isakson of Minneapolis, MN; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and her brother Hank Martinson. She was preceded in death by her husband Don; parents Ralph and Pauline Martinson; sister Ruth Althaus; brother Victor Martinson and grandson Ian. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th at St. Rose Catholic Church in Proctor, MN at 10:00 am with Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
