Obituary of Sheila Dianne Grams

Sheila Dianne (Ward) Grams, 75, of Plymouth, MN died on May 12, 2022. She was Born on February 15, 1947 in Gallipolis, OH to the late Gert Sabins and Jim Ward.

Graduated from Richwood High School in 1965 with honors, then attended The Ohio State University getting her degree in dental hygiene in 1968. She worked many years in Ohio and Minnesota.

Married Jack Grams in 1972 and is survived by their son, Travis and daughter, Jessica. Sheila was so organized we called her the Boss.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Jarrid Grams, in 2005 and her mother, Gertrude Ward Sabins; father, Jim Ward; stepfather, Jeff Sabins; and special uncle Robert Ward and wife Gaylee. She was the first of 18 grandchildren of the late James and Thelma Ward.

Above all else, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and special friend. She is survived by her grandchildren Zachary, Joseph, and Jarrid and sibling Linda Somerlot (Cumming, GA), Kathy Lewis (Rick) (Thornville, OH), Charles Sabins (Marla) (Fletcher, NC) and Kevin Sabins (Colorado Springs, CO), along with her aunt and several nephews and nieces and many cousins.

Interest (hobbies) - volunteering for Special Olympics and Choice Inc., scrapbooking, golf, exercising, reading, and traveling

A memorial service will be held at Washburn McReavy Funeral Chapel, 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN 55429 on June 16, 2022, reception at 10:00 to 11:00, grave service 11 to 11:30 and luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics MN or Choice Inc. in lieu of flowers
