Obituary of Thomas Mathew Hearden

Thomas Mathew Hearden, born March 10, 1957, peacefully passed away at home on May 13, 2022.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, rooting for the Vikings and Twins, and playing golf. He was a guru of the grill, but not so much of the lawn – even though he tried. Tom was a “jack of all trades” and amazingly talented with remodeling and repairs. His patience and willingness to help was second to none.

Tom is survived by wife, Diane; sons, Andy, Donny (Kayla) and Charlie; 6 grandchildren; sister, Patti; and brothers Tim (Julie), Andy (Lesa), and Chris. He was preceded in death by son, Tony; parents Tom and Marilyn; sister, Teri; brothers, Mike and Matt.

This kind and gentle man will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., service at 2:00 p.m., at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul.
