Obituary of Paul Joseph Vogelgesang

Paul Joseph, known to some as "Butch", age 81 of Gulfport, MS died unexpectedly on April 25, 2022.

Paul is survived by the "love of his life for 52 years", Marlene Krupich; good friends and many of Marlene's nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin and Martha.

He graduated from Monroe High School in 1959, enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962, and was a long-time Electrical Inspector with the City of St. Paul, retiring in 1995. A man of many interests and ideas, Paul embarked on numerous adventures , living by the mentality that if you throw enough stuff at the wall, something will stick. His exuberance for life, and his penchant for story-telling will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Private burial at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials preferred to donor's choice or a local food shelf, his preferred charity.
