Obituary of John Patrick Caye

John Patrick Caye Sr. 86, of Woodland, MN died peacefully on January 7, 2018 in Methodist Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Anna and L.D. Caye in Minneapolis, MN, the youngest of 8 children, grew up on a small farm in Deephaven, MN and later in Excelsior, MN. Preceded in death by son, James; one brother and 5 sisters. Survived by devoted wife of 64 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Marcia (Steven) Beahen; son, John, Jr. (Tina); daughter, Christin (Daniel) Shepherd; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Nancy Small of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews. Remembrance Memorial at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave South, Edina on Saturday, January 13th from 9:30-10:30, followed by light food and refreshments at 10:30. People are encouraged to share their memories over the years with John.
