Obituary of Katherine Matkovich Johnson

Katherine (Kay) Matkovich Johnson passed away on April 11, 2022 at Solvay Hospice House. She was born on November 28, 1925 in Duluth, MN to Anna and Anton Matkovich. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Louise Vegar and Gina Kozul, nephew Nicholas Kozul and niece Katherine Kozul. Kay is survived by her nephew Kevin (Sue) Vegar and niece Kim Seguin. Great nieces Heather (Alan) Herman, Jenna (Ryan Dodge) Seguin and Katie (Sam) Rosen. Great nephew Mike (Nicole) Vegar. Great-great nephews: Carter Herman, Braden Herman, Dorian Herman, Jackson Vegar, Keenan Bolander, Luke Rosen, Jesse Rosen and Jack Dodge. Great-great nieces Mila Vegar and Bellamy Dodge. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations are preferred to the Solvay House.
