Obituary of Janette F Bissonnette

Janette(Jan) F Bissonnette(Begger), 86, of Shakopee, MN, joined many loved ones in heaven on 26 April 2022.

She was born to parents Dan and Martha Begger, on 11 March 1936 in Wibaux , MT.

Jan met James Bissonnette in 1954 in Great Falls, MT. They were married September 1954 in Wibaux, MT at St Phillips Catholic Church.  Together they raised 6 children: Deb Klein, Doug Bissonnette(Suzanne), Dan Bissonnette(Laura), Darlene Trotter, Duane Bissonnette, and Denise Bissonnette.

Jim and Jan lived in many different states and Japan while Jim was in the Air Force. In 1972, they settled in San Diego, Ca. Jan worked at Dyna Med for 27 years becoming the only female executive at the company.  Jan enjoyed riding on the back of Jim’s motorcycle traveling the United States and Canada. Later in life, Jan became an avid sailor even living on the sailboat for a couple years. Jan love music and dancing. Jan’s greatest love though was her family. Her 6 kids, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Jan was a devout Catholic with a strong faith in God. She was a Eucharist minister for many years.            

She was preceded in death by Dan Begger(father), Martha Begger(Mother), Raymond Begger(Brother), James Bissonnette(Husband), Ralynn Bissonnette(Granddaughter), and multiple beloved Aunts and Uncles.

A Private family service will be held on June 24th, 2022 in California.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emerald Crest Assisted Living of Shakopee, Mn or Alzheimers Association.
