Robert Dennis Baker

May 8^th, 1938 – April 23^rd, 2022

Robert Dennis Baker passed away on April 23^rd, 2022.

Preceded in death by his parents Earl D. Baker and Helen R. Peck Baker.

 He is survived by his sister, Martha Baker Oviatt and brother William E. Baker.  Husband to Barbara A. Johnson Baker.  Loving father to Kimmarie Baker Deline (James),  Charlotte Baker Tourtillott (David), Kenneth Baker (Elizabeth Michalka). Grandfather to 6 grandchildren and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren. 

Bob was a veteran of the Air Force and served from 1956 – 1960.  He was employed by Unisys for 26 years as a computer engineering specialist.  After leaving Unisys, he started his own business, DeckRenu.

Upon retirement he and Barbara spent 20 years traveling in their motorhome from Canada to Texas and California to North Carolina.  Bob and Barbara formerly residing in Burnsville, Minnesota, decided to become residents of Donna, Texas in 2015 at the Victoria Palms Resort.  In 2019, they moved back to Minnesota to be nearer to family.

Bob was a soft spoken, gentle, kind man who will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 5^th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435.  A light reception will immediately follow the service.
