Obituary of Deloris Schinigoi

Deloris (Dee) LaVonne Schinigoi, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away on March 18, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospice with family by her side. She was 82.

Dee was born on August 6, 1939, in Long Prairie, MN to Marie Reed and Knute Reed.

Dee graduated from Cloquet High School in 1957. She worked for Cloquet Memorial Hospital for 22 years before retiring in 1999. 18 of her 22 years were spent working in the nursery. She enjoyed taking care of all the babies that were born there.

Dee enjoyed spending time with family. Playing on her laptop, going to the casino and talking on the phone. She especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.  

Dee is survived by her children, Fred and Carl Schinigoi, Anita Keeley and Julie Patterson. Grandchildren, Tina (John) Windus, Marcus (Rachael) Frost, Nathaniel (Ashely) Patterson, Lacey (Luke) Eastlick, Zachariah (Destiny) Swapinski, Amber Keeley and Jacob Swapinski. Great grandchildren Lukas, Issaiah, Nicolas, Zelda, Autumn, Ashtin, Dominic, Maddox, Gracie and Nevaeh.  

Sister, Janet (Robert) Johnson and brothers Doug (Bonita) and Roger Reed. Plus numerous nieces and nephews.  

She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, Marie Reed and Knute Reed.

A celebration of life for this amazing woman will be held on May 14th from 2-5 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave Duluth ,MN
