Obituary of Lucy Peterson

Lucy Peterson passed away peacefully on April 16, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born May 12, 1929 to Mariano and Cira (Jenny) Biondo. She moved from Brooklyn, NY to Duluth MN when she married the love of her life, Kenneth Peterson. For many years she worked as a LPN supervisor at Viewcrest Nursing Home.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Mariano and Jenny Biondo, her loving husband Kenneth, and her best friend and twin sister Josephine Prior.

She is survived by her 3 loving children Mark (Carinda) Peterson of AZ, Cheryl (John) Oland of Esko, MN, and John (Geraldine) Peterson of Duluth, MN, her 5 grandchildren; Michelle (Shawn) Purcell, Michael Roux, Joey Peterson, Kate Oland, and Jacob Peterson; 5 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2pm with service to follow 3pm at the Cremation Society in Duluth, MN.
