Obituary of Lyle Timmers

Lyle Timmers, passed away on Easter April 17, 2022 at the age of 82, bringing with him for those who await, many vivid stories of hunting, fishing, camping and family.

Lyle was a kind and loving father, grandfather and father-in-law. He loved his family and cared deeply for his children and grandchildren. After retirement he was able to enjoy even more time with his grandboys, Dustin and Seth, bowling, eating out (DQ!), attending school events and hanging out with his “boys”.

As stories go, Lyle was an adventurous young man, fast cars, fast motorcycles and the rest will be left to everyone’s memories. At age 18 Lyle and Sylvia married and had 4 children, and new adventures became lasting memories of family camping trips, fishing, hunting, dirt bike riding and so much more.

Lyle was an accomplished machinist and was proud of his profession and rarely missed a day of work. He taught by example the importance of hard work and the benefits from it and he will forever be in our loving memories.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ben and Lorna Timmers. He leaves behind a brother, John (Donna) Timmers; children Mike (Pat) Timmers, Mark (Danny) Timmers, Michelle (Lisa Jo) Timmers and Tawny Timmers. Grandchildren Jessica, Dustin and Seth.

Memorial Services will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, Saint Paul, MN 55119 on Friday, April 29, 2022 with visitation at 3 PM and memorial service at 4 PM with lunch following.
