Obituary of Walter Vincent Wojtowicz

Walter Wojtowicz

March 14, 1936 – April 6, 2022

Wally passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those he held dear. He was 86 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mary, and his wife Marilyn. He and Marilyn were married on July 19, 1955. They built a good life together with many fun times and great memories.

He is survived by his children Sharon (Greg) Erickson, Steven (Karin), Sandra (Michael) Norlander, and Joan (Diana), his grandchildren Laura (Roy) Patterson, Autumn Norlander, Jace (Alli) Wojtowicz, Michael (Kimberly) Norlander, Meghan Bauer, Joshua Rinehart, and Shelby (Tom) Majerle, and his great grandchildren Kyle, David & Anna Brummet, Joseph Norlander, Kylie Carpenter, Jude & Theo Sterling, Isabella Norlander, Kyra Bauer, Bentley, Sterling & Liam Majerle.

Wally enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids, metal detecting, motorcycling, hunting, gardening, casinoing with grandma and many other different things. He will be dearly missed by many and remembered fondly through the years.

A celebration of his life will be held on April 24, from 1-4 at the St. Paul Cremation Society, 1979 Old Hudson Rd.

A special thank you to St. Croix Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided. It was a blessing to be able to keep Wally at home in his final days.
