Obituary of Marcella C. Franz

At the age 94, passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2022, at her daughter Carol's home in Hudson. She was born on November 11th, 1927 in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Marcy lived independently in her home by the river and drove around Hudson until her diagnosis of cancer in October, 2021. Marcy sewed all of her life and in 2017 started to do memory bears for clients. She made her last bears for a family this past December.

Marcy was able to spend 10 years with the love of her life, Vern Wobig until his death.

Marcy was a strong and independent woman who enjoyed life to it's fullest. She said, "I have lived a long and good life."

Marcy is survived by her sister, Rita Huftel and Marcy's 5 children - Marie Bennington, Edward Johnson, Carol Sudheimer, James Feola, Mark Franz and their families. A private interment will be held on a sunny day in the spring.
