Obituary of Joseph Peter Slaviero

Joseph P. Slaviero, 85, of Duluth, MN passed away on March 4, 2022 at Superior Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Superior, WI.

He was born to Augusto and Ambrogina Slaviero on June 29th, 1936. He married Joan Rogers and also worked as a steel maker and later as a cook for United States Steel. He retired 42 years ago at the age of 43 taking many cruises and traveling with his family.

Joseph is survived by sons, Joe Slaviero Jr., Paul (Tonette) Slaviero, Rick (Kathy) Slaviero, James Slaviero; grandchildren, Tabatha Rol, Michelle Slaviero, Nicole Slaviero, Sara Slaviero, Zack Slaviero, Noah Slaviero.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Arnold Slaviero.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the First Memorial Funeral Center in Duluth. A burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery of Superior.
