Dear Ruth, Kelly and Michael,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She was a wonderful woman in every way. I have fond memories of visits with Henry and Barbara as a young girl and beyond.
Kelly, I remember the great visit we had with you, Andrew and your mom when you came to Fort Collins for a visit. I feel very lucky to have had the time I did with you all. It was so typical of Ruth to make this very special effort to meet your relatives not often seen.
My son Mark, and I watched your very touching memorial service honoring your mother’s life. It was truly a beautiful tribute to a fantastic, forward thinking, and lovely woman.
About three months ago I had a conversation with your mom on the phone. She had reached out to me about a recipe she had found in her things that my grandmother, Tillie Montgomery McCoy, had given her. Always thinking of others. Sharp as a tack and it was wonderful to be in touch. I cherish this memory too!!
I am sending much love to you all and your extended family. Thank you so very much for reaching out to me to share this time with you.
