Obituary of Marilyn Yvonne Jackson

Marilyn Yvonne Jackson Born: January 28, 1936 Johnston City, IL. Died peacefully, January 25, 2022, in the loving presence of her daughter Paula and Son in law Clinton Booker at Catholic Eldercare, Mpls., MN.

She was an active member of AA for many years and enjoyed the program and her 40+ years of sobriety. She served as an election judge for many years in Minneapolis. She was also a volunteer with the Minneapolis Police Department. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and mentor to many!

Survived by: Brother; James R Jackson, (Colorado), Daughter; Paula J Booker (husband Clinton Booker) Grandson; Glenn P. Dvergsten (wife Ashley and great grandson Gavin) Grandson; Christopher C. Dvergsten (wife Sherri). Granddaughter; Latanza Booker. 

Celebration of life and final resting place will be in June. (Day TBA) We will lay her to her final rest with her parents James and Lorene Jackson, at the Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, IL.
