Obituary of Linda Lee Strand

Linda Lee Strand, born to Suzanne Carol Aakre and Gary Roy Colby on November 7^th, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Linda lost her courageous battle with cancer and took her last breath on December 28^th, 2021, with her husband and children by her side at the age of 65.

Linda will be dearly missed by her family and many friends, that she made over the years between retiring from the Labors Union and working at MyPillowas a line supervisor from 2015 to 2021. Linda loved working at MyPillow and would often talk about how she missed her coworkers and couldn’t wait till she could return back to work.

Linda’s favorite places to visit were Hawaii and Florida, where she loved laying out on the beach. When Linda wasn’t traveling, she loved going to fairs, craft shows, farmers markets, and shopping with her sisters. Linda also had a passion for cooking and was most happy when surrounded by family during get togethers and holidays.

Linda is survived by her husband of 22 years Michael Strand, and her kids Daniel Pomroy (Theresa Pomroy), Kelleen Willey (Jamie Willey), Ryan Pomroy, Matthew Strand, Jacob Strand (Jenchira Manivanh); her grandkids Christopher, Matthew, Morgan, Kameron, Hayden, and Rowan; her siblings Kimberly, Katherine, Patrick, Tracy, Yonder and Diane; and her favorite aunts that helped raise her and Mary and Pauline; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins which she loved very much. Linda Lee Strand will be greatly missed and forever in our Hearts and Memories!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm, Friday January 21^st, 2022, at the American Legion Post 643, Princeton Avenue, Savage, MN 55378
