Obituary of Priscilla M. Maki

Priscilla M. Maki age 73 of Fridley MN, formerly of Duluth & Esko, MN died 12/31/2021 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN.

Priscilla was born 10/15/1948 to Arvo & Verna Maki.  She grew up in Esko, MN and graduated from Esko High School in 1966. 

Priscilla received an Associate Degree from the Duluth Business School.

She worked as a secretary/administrative assistant with the College of St.  Scholastica for several years; and later as a secretary/administrative assistant with Rice Lake Township (Duluth) for 4 years, before moving to Fridley, MN. 

Priscilla retired in 2017 as an administrative assistant after 28+ years with the City Coon Rapids, Vehicle Maintenance Division.

She also worked part time for years at Lynn’s Cakes of Fridley.  She was a master, creative cake baker & decorator; over the years Priscilla made hundreds of cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and for any event imaginable. 

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Maki.

Priscilla is survived by her children: Robyn Bolander, James (Colleen) Lamb; grandchildren: Payton & Kennedy Bolander; siblings: Michael (Margaret) Maki, Patricia/Trish Maki, Amelia/Amy (John) McCracken; step sisters: Linda (Lloyd) Shelton, & Leanne Peterson; and 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 8 great nieces & 3 great nephews.
