Obituary of Diana Gerry

Diana (Auers) Gerry, age 89, of Cottage Grove, MN formerly St. Paul Park,MN Passed away peacefully at Woodwinds Hospital surrounded by her family on January 9, 2022. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  Diana was born on February 11, 1932, she grew up in Newport, MN and graduated from Park High School. Preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Anna Auers, sister; Clarabelle Froelich.  Survived by her life-long best friend and husband of 71 years, Harold (China) Gerry, children Scott (Renee) Gerry, Mark (Jane) Gerry, Kim (Scott) Bracey; grandchildren, Troy (Erika) Tyson (Brooke ) Anna (Jay), Jenna, Cameron, Connor and Madison; great grandchildren; Mason, Wyatt, Grace, Axton, Lenox and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is known for her infectious smile and contagious laugh, her love of family and sense of style.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service, Service 11 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Newport Lutheran Church 900 15^th Street, Newport, MN 55055, Luncheon following service at the church. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched.  She will remain in our hearts forever.
