Obituary of Betty Sexton

Sexton, Betty Lou (Jameson) Nee, Malone Passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on December 23, 2021, at the age of 89. Formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri and North Sioux City, South Dakota.

Preceded in death by husbands Wayne Jameson and Leo Sexton, son Tim Jameson and stepsons LeRoy Sexton and Stanley Sexton.

Betty was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to Albert and Rachel Malone in 1932. In retirement Betty and Leo traveled the country. She was a quiltmaker and won many ribbons at various quilt shows. She loved her family with all her heart and was very passionate about her pets.

Survived by sons, Edward (Barbara) Jameson, Danny (Debra) Jameson, Karl (Deborah Hlavka) Jameson, Joseph Jameson (Jill) and stepsons, John (Kathy) Sexton, Frank Sexton and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Betty was a resident of Woodlyn Heights Senior Living, Inver Grove Heights, MN for the past 2 years. Her family is grateful for the care she received.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11am at Bethel Baptist Church, 2100 Delaware Avenue, Sun Fish Lake, MN 55118.
