Obituary of Dorothy Mae Ruther

Dorothy Mae Dressel Ruther passed away peacefully December 10,2021 at the age of 101.  She was born in Glenwood City, Wisconsin, but grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was a long time resident of Golden Valley.
After raising three Children she went to work for the USPS, retiring in 1982.
She was known for her quick wit and her kind and compassionate spirit.  She loved dancing, swimming, traveling and winters in Florida.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ted,  her two sisters and one brother.  She is survived by her three children Rod (wife Stephanie) Gary,  Rhonda (husband Garfield), seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
She was well loved by so many and she will be dearly missed.
