Obituary of Jean Truman

Jean (Jeannie) R. Truman, 74, of Duluth, MN died Dec 9, 2021 at Essentia Hospital. Jean was born May 2, 1947 in Bemidji, MN to Edward and Iva Bohlmann. Jean married Ira G. Truman on Oct. 7, 1972 in Las Vegas. Jean enjoyed horseback riding, quilting, gardening, and spending time with friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ira; siblings Harold, Delbert, Clarence, Rudolph, Kenneth, and Eddy. Jean is survived by her brother Herman (Sherry), sister Dorothy (Swede) Platt; children, Glenn, Gary, Kim (Marty) Priem, and Todd (Jackie); several grandchildren, including Benjamin Truman-Bastie and Miriana Bastie and great-grandchildren.  

Visitation 9:00 am with a Memorial Service at 10:00 am on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth, 4100 Grand Ave.
