Obituary of Wesley L Edstrom

Wesley L. Edstrom, age 83, of Minneapolis, passed away on December 5^th, 2021. He started his early working years with the family business, Edstrom Dairy & Food, locally. Then Wesley served his country in the Navy before going into the Minneapolis Police Department. After retirement, he was a golf ranger at Majestic Oaks Golf Course.

Wesley is preceded in death by parents, Melvin and Amanda Edstrom; and daughter, Leslie Hubbard.

He is survived by loving wife of 38 years, Cindy; son, John Edstrom; Cindy’s children, Kim Beyer and Kevin (Karen) Schenemann; grandchildren, Mariah, Shelby, and Blake; brother, David (Arlys); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Wesley’s Life at Bunker Hill’s Golf Course (12800 Bunker Prairie Rd NW, Minneapolis) on Tuesday, December 21^st, 2021 from noon to 3pm. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Minneapolis Police Honor Guard.
