Obituary of John Walsh Yaeger III

John Walsh Yaeger III (aka Gabe), age 49, passed away on December 3, 2021.

He is survived by his parents, John Yaeger and Carol Bursch; birth mother Lina Walsh; son Tyler Fish; siblings Rhonda, Lori (Erik), Darren (Michelle), Lisa (Todd), Doug (Heidi), Mark (Erica), Lindsey (Jake), James, Jeff…and numerous nieces & nephews and aunts & uncles.

He was preceded in death by step father Howard Bursch. 

John graduated from Rockford Highschool in 1990, after which he spent a year traveling, working in coffeehouses in Europe, and a kibbutz in Israel. 

He was an avid reader of science fiction, a connoisseur of Death Metal and Nerdcore music, a wicked poker player, and a passionate MN sports fan. 

John wanted nothing more than for the Vikings (and/or T-Wolves) to win a championship, and sadly, died disappointed.
