Obituary of Jackie Taylor

Jackie Taylor, 85, of Duluth, MN passed away December 7th, 2021 at Benedictine Healthcare.  She was born in Duluth on January 6, 1936 to Jack and Mildred Olsen. 

Jackie attended both Lincoln and Denfeld High Schools. She married Roland Taylor on September 3, 1954 in Duluth. She worked as a retail clerk, retiring in 1987. Jackie loved baking and cooking. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Taylor (Mary) and Randy Taylor; daughter, Kim (Greg) Thompson; brother Ray (Donna); 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Jeff, Jesse, Rachel, Jordan, and Jared; 12 great-grandchildren; long-time best friend Merlye Eliason; and many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14th at First Memorial Funeral Center, 4100 Grand Ave at 10am. A visitation will be held an hour prior with a reception to follow the service. Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery at 12:30pm.
