Obituary of Patricia Jimenez

It is with great sadness that the Seshan-Menon family announce the passing of their beloved aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law, and friend Patricia Jimenez on 14th November 2021.

A journalist at heart, Aunt Patty worked as a reporter in San Francisco where she met and married Krishna. She was a traveller who loved to visit new places and took her niece and nephew exploring to different parts of the world -- from Disneyland to Australia to cruises down the Mississippi, her soul was a wanderer. But her calling was to look after people and as Reverend with the Unitarian Universalists she spent many years working in different parts of the country, New York, California, Michigan and finally as a Chaplain at the Hennepin County Medical Centre in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

PJ was a joy and strength in many people's lives -- our Aunt with the purple hair and the best stories. She would visit India, despite the sweltering heat so she could be with Krishna's family who became her family. She never missed an important event. She looked after Krishna in his sickest days and was by his side till the day he passed away.

She was a light in our life and we will miss her terribly.
