Obituary of Zana Juberigan
Juberigan, Zana (Houk) passed away November 11, 2021 at the age of 95. Born in Columbus Township on October 7, 1926 to Jessie and Orval Houk. Zana with her three sisters and brother grew up in Wyoming, MN. She married Grant Juberigan in 1950. They traveled for a few years in their "brand new" trailer home that she adored, before settling in Forest Lake to raise their family. She retired from the US Post Office in 1986 and has resided in Wyoming for 30 years. She is survived by her three children Linda Rundell, Gordy Juberigan and Jodi Rasmussen, six grandchildren: Mike, Lisa, Brian, Elijah, Noah, Ava, seven great-grandchildren: Madison, Carlos, Abbey, Shyann, Carter, Owen, Annabelle and special friend Callie. Also survived by sisters Bessie Goranson, Marlys Stachel, brother Duane Houk and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by husband Grant, parents Orval and Jessie, sister Manola Kunshier and her most beloved daughter-in-law Linda Juberigan. Love of family was her top priority. And she added to that her spirited, energetic and fun-loving nature. Always ready to plan a celebration or get-together at the drop of a hat. She enjoyed traveling to visit family or new places - trips taking her to Japan, Europe and many US locations. She was an active member of the church where her homemade pies were a huge hit at the bake sales. We all remember her as a "worry-wart", always concerned about the welfare and safety of everyone around her. Her legacy of strength, positivity and unconditional love will live in our hearts forever. Memorial service Tuesday, November 30th at 2:00PM (Visitation one hour prior) at the United Methodist Church in Wyoming, MN. Interment at the Wyoming Methodist Cemetery in the spring of 2022.
