James W. Brown
Age 70, of Cottage Grove, MN
Passed away after a brief illness on November 11th, 2021.Jim grew up on the East side of St. Paul, and he graduated from Johnson High School and St. Paul TVI. He moved to Cottage Grove, MN in a house he loved for 40+ years until the time of his death. Jim worked as an electrician as a member of IBEW Local 110 until he retired. Jim enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, traveling, family and friends. Jim is preceeded in death by parents LaRoy & Lois Brown, brother Rick, and brother-in-law Russ Crosby.
Survived by wife Renee, stepson Travis, siblings Kathie Tucker (Dennis), Sue Reller (Ron),
Cindy Hofmeister (Tom), Ron Brown (Michelle), Patty Crosby, Mary Brown, Dave Brown, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of Life, Sunday November 28th at The American Legion, 328 Broadway Ave., St. Paul Park, MN from 1-5PM
Private burial at Cottage Grove Cemetery at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers memorial preferred to the family.
