Obituary of Jason M Mueller

Jason M. Mueller, 45, of Monticello, MN, formerly of Hillsboro, ND, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Jason Michael Mueller was born on September 21, 1976 in Hillsboro, ND, the son of Willis and Sharon Mueller. Jason graduated from North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, ND in 2000, with a degree in Construction Management. He worked as a Senior Project Manager/Estimator for Veit Companies of Rogers, MN for the past 21 years.

Jason lived in Monticello, MN where he and his wife Carrie of 20 years raised their kids Hailey (age 15) and Cole (age 13).

Jason loved adventure, hunting, shooting sporting clays and spending time with his family. He especially loved camping, and traveling to different state parks and national parks where hiking with his family was a favorite pastime. Jason was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He was involved with his kids activities, he enjoyed mountain biking with his son Cole. He shared the same sense of humor as his daughter Hailey. Family was everything to Jason. He would do anything to make his family happy and his kids really looked up to him. Jason loved growing up in Hillsboro, ND, he would call his family home “God’s Country” because of the great hunting. Later in life his favorite place to be was in the woods and in the yard on his own property in Monticello.

Jason is survived by, and will always be remembered by, his wife Carrie Mueller, children Hailey and Cole. His parents Willis and Sharon Mueller, brother Matt (Sarah) Mueller, father and mother-in-law Dan and Terri Winter and many extended family members and friends.

He is preceeded in death by his grandparents George and Delores Auck, Raymond and Lilas Mueller.

A public visitation on Wednesday, November 17th , 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church, Monticello, MN from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday November 17th, 2021, followed by a private family memorial service at 12:00 p.m. (masks are required)
