Obituary of William Angus Crichton

Crichton, William Angus passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021, just one week after celebrating his 92nd birthday (born 10/24/29). Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother, David and Francis (Danneker) Crichton. Bill graduated from Central High School and was a lifelong resident of South Minneapolis. He became a corporal in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. Later, Bill was employed as a parts supervisor at Honeywell where he retired after 40 years. Bill had a long memory and was the keeper of all the family history. He was an avid people person and loved sitting in his front yard greeting everyone that passed by, hoping to show off his beautiful back gardens. His favorite holiday was Christmas and he spent numerous hours assembling his Christmas village every year for all the relatives and neighbors to see. Bill was a big man with a quick smile and generous spirit who will be remembered fondly. We will be saying our last goodbyes to Bill on Nov. 20, 2021, 11am-2pm, at The Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Mpls, MN. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
