Obituary of Merlin Forsell

Butch Forsell, 78, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, in Duluth. He was born in Hermantown and graduated in 1961.

On March 4, 1967 he married the love of his life, Diane McDonald. They had three children, Jim, Kristi and Danny.

He is survived by Jim (Becky) Forsell of Forest Lake, Kristi (Mike) Poissant of Duluth, and preceded in death by Danny Forsell in 2010. He always beamed with pride about his seven grandchildren Alex, Matt, Maggie (Drew), Ryan, Jack (Bri), Alicia (Alex), Paisley; and two great grandchildren, Colton and Myles.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be Friday, Nov. 19 from 4:00–6:00 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN. Masks Required.
