Obituary of Neil Thomas Connelly

Neil Thomas Connelly, age 73, passed away the morning of October 26, 2021 at his home in Coon Rapids, MN.

He was the youngest of five born on June 13, 1948. He married Judith Connelly on April 28, 1973.

Neil worked hard to provide for his family, whom he was a loving husband and father, as well as keep a positive outlook on life even when things would get him down. He was also very stubborn, never one to back down from a challenge whether it be fixing the snow-blower or help those he cared for.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy Connelly of St. Paul, MN, and Kevin Connelly of Coon Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith; his older brothers, Mickey, Patrick, and Terry; a sister, Maureen; and his parents.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2 PM to 5 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., for family and friends to visit. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
