Age 60 of St. Paul / Shoreview MN

Passed away quietly on October 24, 2021 with family attending. Preceded in death by his mother, Carol Fruehling. Survived by father, Lee; loving step-mother of 51 years, Jo; brother, Jeff (Mary); half-brothers, Eric & Todd Lundblad and James Fruehling; half-sister, Julie Fruehling; loving step-father, Jim Fruehling; many other family members and friends. Resided for the past 27 years at the Lake Owasso Residence of Ramsey County in Shoreview, where he received extraordinary love and care from the most wonderful people on this planet. Joe also attended the equally wonderful Merrick, Inc. for many years where he was much loved and was trained to do day work for which he was quite proud. The family requests memorials go to the Lake Owasso Residence, 210 N Lake Owasso Blvd., Shoreview, MN 55126 or Merrick, Inc., 3210 Labore Rd., Vadnais Heights, MN 55110.  Memorial service on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Saint Odilia Catholic Church (3495 Victoria St. N., Shoreview, MN 55126) at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
