Obituary of Michael Scott Kim Gerszewski
Age 29 of Bloomington passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2021. Michael was born in Seoul, Korea. Michael graduated from Bloomington Kennedy High School in 2010, the University of Minnesota in 3 1/2 years, and got his Master's Degree from Washington University in St Louis, MO in Occupational Therapy. He worked as a hand therapist and was very committed to his profession.
Michael enjoyed working at ACR Riverton group home during college and loved the residents and staff. As a hand therapist, Michael was well liked for his kind, caring, and compassionate manner. Michael was known for his quick wit, smile and humor and was uplifting to those around him. Michael touched a countless number of lives in the most incredible way.
Michael recently completed a 42K Rollerski marathon in Duluth and finished 76 out of 678. He liked to bike, rollerblade, Nordic ski without poles, play tennis, and go rock climbing. He was incredibly talented and started working on cars, rebuilt his car's engine, and made things on his 3D printer. He enjoyed cooking, grilling and loved to think of creative solutions to fix things.
Michael will be loved and missed forever by his parents, Ed and Peggy, sister, Sara, grandmother, Ann Wheeler, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his brother, Scott, grandparents Peter and Frances Gerszewski, grandfather, Robert Wheeler, and uncle Denis Gerszewski.

Visitation at 1 PM. Sharing of Memories at 2 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 230 PM on Monday, November 1 at the Church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Avenue South, Richfield, 55423. Lunch following.
