Obituary of Carl H. Olson
Carl H. Olson, age 95, of Big Lake, MN, peacefully went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 08, 2021. Carl honorably served his country in the US Army. Following his discharge, Carl dedicated over 30 years to Honeywell as a Tool & Dye Inspector. After he retired, his happy place was spending time with family and the love of his life Gerry, who enjoyed many wonderful years together. Carl loved traveling up North to the Hay Lake cabin experiencing morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Throughout his life, he was a Godly role model for his children. They enjoyed time together hunting, fishing, sitting around a campfire, playing new games, exploring the woods, and bird watching. He spent 28 winters in Bibleville, Alamo, Texas, serving others united in Christ. Carl took pride in nurturing his beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. He was a “Mr. Fix-it” and knew how to fix anything. He is survived by Gerry and children: Carolyn (Larry), Ron (Peggy), Kevin (Rhonda), Gary (Linda), Diane (Phil), Greg, and Jay. He deeply loved his many grandchildren: Melinda, Jeremy, Melissa, Luke, Lee, Mike, Joe, Adrianna, Nelson, Liam, Alex, Calahan, Kyle, Danell, Justin, Brea, Levi, Caleb, Cole, Gabby, Brandon, Dylan, Jason, Jeremy R., Marie, Katelyn, Jake R, Able, Jacob M., Jon and Joey.
