Obituary of Wayne Paulson

Wayne David Paulson passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 66. He was a resident of Becker Minnesota.

He was born on March 4, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of James and Jane Paulson (Forster).

Wayne earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin Stout in 1980 and was a Mechanical Engineer for 45 years.

Wayne proudly served 17 years as a volunteer firefighter for the city of Rosemount, Minnesota.

Wayne loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He really loved being at home and working on his many projects. Wayne will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his generosity, and the enormous love he had for his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Paula of Becker. His daughters, Erin Olsen (Eric) of Woodbury and Heather Banholzer (James) of Shoreview. His Grandchildren, Aubrey and Benjamin. His father, James L Paulson of Lakeville. His brother, James Paulson (Vicki) of Rosemount. His sisters, Karen Melcher (Charles) of Apple Valley, Carolyn Blom (John) of Eagan, and Jodi Martin (Alan) of Farmington. And many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Wayne’s life will take place in the Spring of 2022.
